FAQs
The Correspondents Club is Second Harvest's membership for people who want to stay in conversation with us between retreats. 10 times a year, (including our quarterly newspaper) something arrives in your mailbox — art, letters, and provocations from the field. It's not a subscription box. It's a personalized correspondence from us to you. A physical artifact in a brand committed, rebelliously, to the analog.
Patron Members receive our quarterly newspaper (four print editions per year), and additional physical pieces — an annual hardcover book, art prints, and gifts from our community. Patron Members also receive a monthly Member's Call.
Standard ($135/year) is digital-only — the quarterly newspaper delivered digitally, and that's it. Founding Member ($335/year) adds the quarterly physical newspaper, the editor's letter, a 10% retreat discount, and priority booking. Patron ($535/year) adds an annual hardcover coffee table book, original art prints, a 20% retreat discount, mystery gifts, and access to the monthly Member's Call.
At launch, we mail within the United States only. We're a deliberately small operation, and getting the domestic experience right comes first. International members are welcome at the Standard (digital) tier, and we'll expand physical shipping when we can do it well.
All memberships are billed annually. We chose annual over monthly on purpose — it reduces administrative noise on both sides and signals that this is a commitment to something, not a disposable subscription. Your card is charged once a year on your renewal date.
Yes. You can cancel from your member portal at any time, and you'll continue to receive everything through the end of your paid year. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no friction.
Visit our Manage My Membership page and enter your email. We'll send you a one-time code — no password to remember. From there you can update your shipping address, change your payment method, switch tiers, or download invoices. If you're moving, please update your address at least three weeks before the next quarterly mailing.
Newspapers mail four times a year, roughly aligned with the seasons. We'll email you two weeks before each edition ships and again the day it goes in the mail, so you'll know when to watch your mailbox. The newspaper launches this Spring, so expect something in the mail around May 2026.
Not yet. We’re working on that as an option. We’ll announce that if and when that makes sense.
Yes. You can move between Standard, Founding Member, and Patron at any time from the member portal. Stripe handles the proration automatically — you'll only pay (or be credited) the difference.
Thirty days before your annual renewal, we'll send you a reminder. Memberships auto-renew unless you cancel. If your card has expired, we'll email you to update it before the renewal date.
Yes. Alumni get first access to the Founding Member tier and a small thank-you in your first package. If you've sat across from us in a retreat or summit you’ll be getting an alumni code that entitles you to a signup discount.
Because something arriving in your mailbox is different from something arriving in your inbox. It shows our commitment to our community, and it’s fun. It asks for a slower kind of attention. We believe the people doing the work of a second harvest deserve correspondence that respects the work, not another tab to close.
